Column Characterizer

Estimate column polarity, dead time and oven ramp from your identified peaks — no method metadata needed. Works from an n-alkane backbone plus a benzene polarity probe.

How to use:
  1. Paste your identified peaks — compound, retention time, area — one per line (straight from your integration report).
  2. You need at least 3 n-alkanes (Methane…n-Decane) as anchors; a Benzene peak sharpens the polarity call.
  3. Characterize → column polarity class, dead time, and estimated oven ramp.
Needs ≥3 unique n-alkane anchors (Methane…n-Decane). A Benzene peak sharpens the polarity call via its effective carbon number.
